Mississippi Lauderdale County School District is vowing to fight the flu through “aggressive action.” The Clarkdale campus reported three hundred eighty-three absences attributed directly to cases of flu.
The entire Clarkdale campus will be sanitized, including all floors, walls, desks, chairs, hallways, and lockers, according to wtok. The plan includes sanitization of all buses and cafeteria spaces.
The district is also asking that students and staff practice healthy hygiene habits.
