New York’s Orthodox Jewish community is reacting harshly in the aftermath of the mayor’s mandatory vaccination declaration. Some community members feel the MMR vaccine is unsafe, but others simply believe that parents are entitled to choose. Many of them note that their skepticism isn’t based in religion.
