Former Pro-Vaccine Mother “Concerned At The Number Of Recommended Vaccines”

Kayla Martin has an article up on, and it struck me as interesting. I feel like this reflects the views of many parents who become unsettled once they see how many and how often the vaccines are given to their children. I would recommend everyone check it out.

I was pro-vaccine before the birth of my granddaughter, but I am now concerned at the number of recommended vaccines our children are being exposed to, as well as the safety of these vaccines.

The Centers for Disease Control recommend 69 doses for a child. That’s a lot of chemicals to give to one so little and new to this world, and not even knowing their normal behavior or demeanor yet, or if they have any deficiency that prevents effectively excreting toxins.

It’s more than double the number of vaccines prescribed 30 years ago. Autism rates are approximately 200 times higher than they were 30 years ago. In 1985, autism affected 1 child in 10,000 in America. Now it is 1 in 50.

And note all the children who have physical and mental ailments that are affecting their quality of life – asthma, allergies, auto-immune disorders, concentration problems, and behavioral and developmental disabilities. These vaccines appear to cause mild or no reactions in some people, but clearly can cause devastating reactions in others. You can finish it here.

I think this is a prime example of how parents begin to question vaccines. It doesn’t exactly happen overnight and it isn’t always accomplished researching online due to the saturation of pro-vaccination sites (anti-vaccination sites, such as ours, are pushed down in the search engine rankings). Pro-vaccination also uses celebrities, such as Jimmy Kimmel, as mouthpieces for the movement which engages parents who don’t do any influence. But once you see the injections happening to your small infant, things can change. You start asking questions and you discover that often times, the Doctor’s answers are dogmatic and inflexible. This can cause any parent to feel discomfort over the decision to vaccinate.

If you were to poll most pregnant couples over vaccine schedules, I am confident they wouldn’t be able to tell you what it is. Most of them have taken on the dogma they’ve been pitched by their Doctors and celebrities. In the 80’s, the Government told us that all fats were bad for us: look how that turned out. But in the 80’s, you couldn’t have convinced anyone that fat didn’t cause fat. That’s the state of vaccines today. Many don’t even care to research it because they consider it a given that vaccines are good. It isn’t until they see the vaccine schedule that they begin to research the other side, inevitably finding sites such as our.
