NJ Teachers Threaten Mass Walkout If Unvaccinated Allowed On Premises

Syringe and vaccine

Lakewood, New Jersey teachers are planning to not return to their teaching duties today unless the school chooses to ban unvaccinated kids. 50 teachers sent a letter with their demand to school administrators.

The Ocean County Health Department has gone on record to indicate the school has the right to bar entry to unvaccinated students.

The teachers’ ultimatum has allegedly been met with the threat of lawsuits from parents of unvaccinated kids. The parents may sue the school for banning their children.

Ocean County is reporting 12 cases of measles.

There is no word as to whether or not the infected individuals are vaccinated.

New Jersey is known for its less than tolerant position on numerous issues, vaccines included.
